I think that at one time or another everyone wishes that they had the ability to express themselves through painting. There is the notion that there is something soothing about sitting at an easel and letting your creative side take over and following it where ever it goes. But it can also be a frustrating experience if left to your own devices. I firmly believe that there is creativity in each of us, but often we need a little guidance to bring it out.
We are so pleased to be hosting artist Sharon Clossick of Sharon Clossick Fine Art for our first ever Paint Night. It’s happening on October 11, from 6 to 9pm. Sharon will walk the class through the step by step process of creating a lovely floral painting on a 16 x 20 canvas that will be finished by the end of the evening. If yellow and blue are not your thing, she will suggest other color combinations or you can feel free to express yourself with colors of your choosing. This is an evening to relax and discover your creative side.
The class is $30 and that includes everything. All materials and supplies will be provided. So just bring yourself and plan for a relaxing and enjoyable evening painting on Main Street. We will have complimentary wine and cheese as well.
The class size is limited to twelve people so don’t delay. To register contact Sharon directly at 401-578-7749.
