I have always admired people who paint. There is something special about having the ability to be creative with color, water, paper, and brush. Having the ability to “get lost” in the moment and enjoy the creative process may be something that you admire as well, but that ability has been elusive. We are pleased to welcome Mary Walsh to the store on Thursday evening, March 26, 2020, from 6:30-8:30 for a class on Intuitive Painting Through Watercolor.
Let Artist Mary Walsh introduce you to the world of Intuitive Painting. Through this practice, you can give yourself permission to have fun while learning to let go and allow for “happy accidents”. Concepts that will be reviewed are negative vs. positive painting as well as translucent vs. opaque paint mediums.
This project is a great introduction for people who have never painted before as well as seasoned artists who might want to incorporate these principles into their current art routine.
The class is $35.00 and all art materials will be provided.
Feel free to bring “liquid Inspiration” and snacks to share. We will have plenty of wine glasses available.
